Having been an FA-Registered lawyer, Samuel’s sports law practice is deep and broad. This includes providing advice and support to broadcasting rights holders, both with respect to exploiting those rights and protecting them. Samuel also has a strong history in sports contracts disputes, helping to resolve relationship issues, whether stemming from an employment agreement, sponsorship contract, or intermediary agreements.

Representing athletes, agents, sports teams and corporate organisations, Samuel has provided advice on the opportunities and issues that can arise from a public sporting profile and also has a successful history negotiating the complex landscape of sporting and regulatory disciplinary matters. He has also advised clients on sports injuries cases, working to find solutions via alternative dispute resolution or pursuing (and defending) litigation through the courts.
